WWII US Army M1C Paratrooper Helmet Liner Cotton Olive Drab 3 A Strap Webbing - Needle Loom

WWII US Army M1C Paratrooper Helmet Liner Cotton Olive Drab 3 A Strap Webbing - Needle Loom

Reproduction WWII US Army M1C paratrooper helmet liner cotton olive drab 3 Inland style A strap webbing material.  It is an excellent replication and adorned our airborne helmets for the past two decades of business and is still being used on our all reproduction jump helmets.  It is the standard diamond pattern 18 mm wide A yoke webbing and is superior to the reproduction material being used by other vendors today, as it is military grade surplus webbing.

This material is needle loomed manufactured webbing.  This means it was made on a modern loom, which leaves a distinctive line on one side of the webbing.  This is totally different to true WWII era shuttle loom helmet chin strap material, which portrays a beautiful raw edge appearance on both sides.

This is mil-spec produced surplus webbing probably from the late 1950s.  We dyed from a green olive drab 7 to an authentic distressed (aged) olive drab 3 20 years ago (God, we are getting old).   Included is an additional pic of the actual webbing when used for A straps.

This is really excellent material and we have no problem continuing to use it today, but we have the shuttle loomed A strap webbing, which is being phased in slowly on all our restored original airborne jump liners.

The video is of our premium shuttle loom produced US WWII M1 helmet webbing, which is also for sale and listed within this product collection.
