Reproduction US WWII M-1942 Standard Army Paratrooper Airborne Uniform Trousers with Legs Ties
This is a fine quality reproduction of the early standard paratrooper uniform jump trousers used by the US Army airborne units during WWII. This basic model saw action in North Africa, Sicily and Normandy Campaigns. It was replaced by the M-1943 uniform around the time of the Arnhem-Nijmegan operations.
This is a quality reproduction airborne uniform jump trouser set. It is unlined and made from 100% cotton. This uniform pant set is one part of a two part uniform (trousers are available separately). It is coloured a fine olive drab #3 (khaki).
These pants feature the distinctive large bellowed side pockets with double snaps. They are great for stuffing items into. (These are the "first pattern" pants and that were issued to the paratroopers early in the war... used for "walking" occasions and early combat missions). The two side pockets are positioned for easy access with basic cover flaps.
These trousers have a fine cut about the ankle (perfect for blousing) and compares well with other replica US WWII paratrooper garments on the market. They have a button fly, watch pocket, waist belt tabs and buttons for suspenders. The side pockets have been set with raw steel (zinc plated) scovil brand snaps... which were not cheap to get.
THIS MODEL FEATURES THE EARLY MODEL SIDE POCKETS WITH LEG TIES (NOT PICTURED)
