Aged US WWII Army Paratrooper M2 Airborne Helmet & Liner with Early Chinstrap (Original Components)
Take the initiative and have me build YOU the ARTFAKE paratrooper helmet that you want. You pick the unit emblem, rank, netting and accessories that you want! Fill the hole in your collection with this limited service!
These are original US WWII M-1 helmet shell and liner restored as an M-2 airborne helmet specifications with original M-1 helmet accessories for serious collectors and displays.
This M-2 paratrooper helmet comes complete with an early war non-removable liner strap, original Westinghouse para liner and all the accessories pictured.
It will include:
US WWII M-2 helmet shell (front seam) & US M-1 paratrooper airborne "Inland style "helmet liner (with frontal eyelet hole)
The M-2 helmet has been totally restored with exterior paint, cork textured, & D bale chinstrap loops. It has aged airborne chinstraps with raw steel snaps (with early buckle and J hook), helmet net and original early war non-removable liner strap.
The M-1 liner provided with this helmet is a true wartime Westinghouse. It has been totally restored with original HBT cloth suspension (which includes): upper suspension, lace cord, backstrap, single piece nape strap, internal steel airborne snaps and shuttle-loomed OD #3 A straps with brass wire buckles (factory installed). It also includes original sweatband, six steel "teethed" brass headband spring clips, non-removable leather liner strap (set with steel rivet and clasp), quartermaster tag, and original leather chincup (with sewn chamois lining).
Note: The pics above are just examples of what can be done... so please keep that in mind when ordering.
This is a true "one of a kind" item that will pass the most intense inspections. If you are after a piece that looks as if it has stood the test of time (for the past 60 years)... this is it!
Please note that "aging" helmets and liners is a bit of an art form and there may be some variations, but be assured that if you like what you see in the pics, you'll LOVE what you get in person.
To make an item worthy of passing the most intense inspection, time is needed. So bear in mind that assembly time for one of these items will take a couple of weeks beyond normal production.
