WWII US Army Reproduction 48 Star Uniform Identification Invasion Flag - North Africa, D Day, Market Garden
This is a reproduction of a WWII US Army Reproduction 48 Star Uniform Identification Invasion Flag. It was issued to both US infantry and airborne troops for identification during large scale invasion landings and saw use in North Africa, D Day, Market Garden. This muslin cloth print of the US flag was sewn upon the right sleeve of the uniform and has a broad unprinted border for easy sewing.
The entire piece of material measures about 140mm x 100mm. The print of the 48 star flag is about 120mm x 80 mm.
