This is a totally restored original US M1 helmet, liner with accessories that has been converted to represent the rare Vietnam War M1C paratrooper model worn by the US Army airborne units during Vietnam. This M1C helmet conversion has been conducted with painstaking detail, such as the use of original “Anchor” brand airborne chinstraps and use of primarily original components and accessories.

This particular helmet represents the standard model, which would have been used in combat operations.
