This is a reproduction of the WWI French Army Model 1915 version of the M1884 Kepi. This version of the WWI French Army cap is the same pattern as the traditional red wool Model 1884 French Army kepi, but made in a different color Horizon Blue wool. The fabric change to Horizon Blue was due to dye shortages brought about by wartime conditions.
