Featured Uniform - Reproduction WWII British RAF P37 Battle Dress Uniform Wool Enlisted Jacket - Blue Grey Wool, No Lining, Light-Weight (Jacket Only)
This is a reproduction of the WWII British Army M1937 P37 Wool Enlisted Uniform Battledress Jacket made from Wool. This enlisted P37 battledress jacket has closed neck collar, shoulder loops, button hook closure, brass buttons, two pleated chest pockets with pattern 37 covered flaps, inside cotton pockets and adjustable waist line fastening belt with buckle. This is a short waisted wool combat jacket that is meant to meet the top of the matching high-waisted wool trousers and was introduced in 1940 as the RAF version of the British Army's battle dress. Initially only worn by air crew, by 1943 it was authorised for all ranks and trades within the RAF
All featured uniforms are remnants of the innumerable various clothing runs we have produced over the past ten years. They are now available at a very attractive discounted price. All these wonderful pieces of clothing are either one of our earlier productions, demo models, film and theatre production overruns, items made by garment manufacturing houses no longer in existence, which do not match our new product line, or are simply clothing patterns we no longer make.
Take a look around and discover some great reproduction WWII era clothing at fantastic prices. You might also find some unique gems that no other vendors are currently producing.
The price discount being offered is not because of lower quality or defect. It is because we simply need the room for our new Allied uniform and equipment line and additional space to operate our M1 helmet webbing shuttle looms. There are not many of each model, sizes are limited and often there is just one piece remaining. If there is a defect, which is usually just shelf-wear, that will be listed in the description.
A few of the items within the German uniform range are even higher quality than the product line we now produce, which is not only excellent, but the most consistent we have ever offered. On some uniforms, there may be a few slight variances of the shade of the wool used. That is to be expected after making these for over a decade.
