WWII British Army Reproduction M1943 Cotton Jungle Green Enlisted Uniform Service Shirt – Aertex Fabric
This is a reproduction of the WWII British Army M1943 Cotton Jungle Green Enlisted Service Shirt made from Aertex Fabric. Aertex was a Manchester based British clothing company who developed a lightweight loose weave cotton for making shirts. During WWII all British and Commonwealth serving in the Far and Middle Eastern Theatres of Operation wore uniforms made from this material, known as Jungle Greens in the Far East and Khaki Drills in the Middle East. This long sleeve pullover shirt is made from that very breathable fabric and features turn down collar, four button neckline, flapped front chest pockets, plastic buttons and, like the originals, is yarn dyed to prevent fading.
